About The Position
As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in further developing our social mobile application. While we have already established an initial version of the MVP with basic functionalities, your primary responsibility will be to lead the enhancement and expansion of the application.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end development of a social mobile application, including product vision, backend, and UX.
- Work closely with the company founders and CTO, taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment in a fast-paced environment.
- Developing and maintaining mobile applications for various platforms, with a focus on React Native and Expo.
- Developing and maintaining backend components using Firebase and integrating third-party APIs.
- Participating in architecture discussions and making technical decisions.
- Working closely with other team members, including designers and product managers, to achieve common goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mobile application and backend development. Proficient in JavaScript.
- Experience with React Native and Expo.
- Familiarity with MobX for state management in applications.
- Experience with Firebase for backend development and support. Strong skills in integrating with various third-party APIs.
